What is Xanax ?
Xanax is a prescription medication used to relieve anxiety and panic attacks. It has also been known to treat agoraphobia (fear of open spaces). Xanax works by decreasing abnormal excitation in the brain. It is part of a class of substances known as Benzodiazepines examples of which are Valium and Ativan. Xanax can be addictive and can produce side effects so it should only be taken under a physician's advice.

Generic Xanax
Generic medications are identical to the original 'Brands' except that they differ in appearance, and packaging. They contain the same chemical constituent as the original but are always a lot more affordable. The generic form of Xanax is known as Alprazolam and is available in exactly the same doses as the branded version 0.25mg, 0.5mg and 1mg tablets. |
